FREMONT — Fremont native Dan Chudzinski grew up next to Spiegel Grove and has countless memories — from taking family pictures to cross country practices and walking his dog — of time spent at the 25-acre wooded site.His parents still live in the neighborhood and walk their dog at the Fremont-based grove, which is the estate of President Rutherford and First Lady Lucy Hayes and became an arboretum three years ago.
