It was my first week back at work in the newsroom since I left for paternity leave to help raise my son, Malcolm. It seems like a lot happened in those three months, but at the same time, it seems like not much new has happened; things went smoothly, for the most part, while I was gone.I spent those months on leave as a passive reader of the news in the short breaks between diaper changes, baby rocking, cooking and cleaning.
