Kayshawnna M. Jordan was in college, on track to graduate with a business degree.The 20-year-old was a loving daughter, sister and granddaughter who was “full of life,” according to her family.
But her future was wiped out when she was beaten and strangled to death in her East Ferry Street home in August 2024.
Peter D. Brown, Jordan’s stepfather – who earlier this year admitted killing her – saw his fate sealed in court on Tuesday.

Crime Stoppers WNY has offered a reward of up to $7,500 for information about a man wanted on a murder charge in connection with the death of his stepdaughter.Peter Brown, 37, is 6-foot-4 and weighs 250 pounds, Crime Stoppers announced Wednesday.
Brown is wanted on a second-degree murder charge in the death of Kayshawnna Jordan.
